Grandpa Murphy: Songs, Stories, and the Survivor’s Code

Grandpa Murphy, circa 1960’s as I knew him. Irish tenor, piano player, story-teller. Always had an Irish joke or story. I’ll always remember the song he taught me that is oh so true today: “Don’t tease the old man!” He told me when I was six years old… “We Murphy’s are Survivor’s!” and told me his Grandfather was one of the few survivors of “The Charge of the Light Brigade”
